The design of the Fahmida Chair is influenced by the Mid-Century Modern style, specifically, Danish Modern. Although admittedly inspired by the furniture born of the style, this piece – like any Thos. “Body and Mind”, a collaboration between Herman Miller and the Pratt Institute was presented during ICFF. The exhibition highlighted furniture designs by both undergraduate and graduate students from Pratt’s Department of Industrial Design.
